‍Bio: Katie is an experienced planner with nearly two decades of land use and environmenta planning practice. She has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest and has worked on planning projects across Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. Katie is a graduate of Seattle University and the University of Washington, and spent a year in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar, where she deepened her understanding of the cultural and spatial dynamics that shape communities. Since joining BHC in 2018, Katie has built a strong reputation as an effective project manager known for delivering thoughtful, well-organized work and fostering trusted relationships with clients. As Planning Manager, she leads her team with a collaborative, communicative approach—valuing clarity, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to listening. Outside the office, Katie enjoys hiking with her family, watching and coaching her kids at soccer, and listening to audiobooks while knitting.
